Abstract:
In this paper three types of membrane catalytic systems will be discussed: (i) microheterogeneous vesicle systems for light-to-chemical energy conversion via water cleavage; (ii) systems for gas phase reduction of carbon oxides based on solid proton-conducting membranes, and (iii) systems for methane coupling to C2 -hydrocarbons based on solid O2 -conducting membranes and liquid CO32-conducting molten carbonate electrolyte.
