Abstract:
This paper discusses biomass conversion processes in supercritical solvents to produce various chemicals. The common method and algorithm for calculating the phase state of complex biomass-containing mixtures in subcritical and supercritical conditions, using thermodynamic models, are developed. We studied chemical technological processes (CTP) of converting solid biomass to methanol, carbon sorbents, energy and heat, light and heavy hydrocarbons for industry application. Then, models of such processes were created, and mathematical modeling, thermodynamic analysis, optimization and calculations of the exergy efficiency of CTP were performed. The relationship between the main operation parameters of biomass gasification, their properties and the target products yield were studied. The Fischer-Tropsch reactor and process scheme were calculated. Productivity and product selectivity are given as the function of biomass gasification and hydrocarbon synthesis parameters.
