Abstract:
This paper reports the general concepts of the solar biomass gasification and complex conversion of the biomass gasification products to the wide spectrum of consumer products. Biomass gasification processes are performed in the volumetric reactors heated by a concentrated solar energy. This concept is substantiated by thermodynamic and exergy analysis and optimization of the schemes for biomass conversion to so-called target products: carbon sorbents, heat. electric power, methanol. liquid hydrocarbon fuels on Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Tilt schemes were examined to achieve the maximum productivity towards final products and exergy efficiency depending on parameters of the biomass gasification process - temperature and quantity of the added water steam. The exergy analysis is carried out, the optimum range of chosen technological parameters is determined. In this report the description of the experimental laboratory setup for the biomass gasification at heating by a concentrated solar energy submitted.
