Abstract:
Simulations of oscillations in the oxidation of CO on Pt(110) catalysts were performed using a detailed reaction mechanism associated with surface structure rearrangement. The calculations demonstrated the dynamics of the generation and development of oscillations, and also indicated the existence of an exptl. observed induction period.
