Abstract:
The Fischer-Tropsch technol. scheme to synthesize light and heavy hydrocarbon fuels from coal gasification products was calcd. Exptl. kinetic data reported in the literature are revised statistically. New approaches to process kinetics understanding are discussed. A group kinetics methodol. used to analyze the synthesis of hydrocarbons helped to find rate consts. for the synthesis of individual hydrocarbons and their groups. The Fischer-Tropsch slurry reactor and process scheme were calcd. Productivity and process selectivity are given as the functions of coal gasification and hydrocarbon synthesis parameters.
