Abstract: A comparative study of the adsorption of N2, O2, and Ar vapors on supermicroporous and fine-mesopore silica at 77 K is carried out. The oxygen sorption properties of these silica materials, like those of tin oxide and zirconia (earlier studied materials), are affected by supermicropores. Argon sorption is insensitive to the presence of supermicropores. Fine mesopores also have an effect on the oxygen sorption properties of silica.
