Abstract: Catalytic oxidation of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine with hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution was studied. A series of transition metal hydroxides supported on oxide supports were tested as the oxidation catalysts. Efficient procedure for removal of toxic 1,1-dimethylhydrazine from water was proposed.
