Abstract: Binary-interaction coefficients for the Redlich-Kwong-Soave equation of state are determined using experimental data on the vapor-liquid equilibria in binary mixtures. The dependence of these coefficients on temperature and pressure is found. Example calculations of phase equilibria showed that the accuracy of the Redlich-Kwong-Soave model could be improved, especially for the range of high pressures and temperatures as well as near critical points.
