Abstract: Based on the kinetic model of partial hydrocarbon oxidation with an allowance made for the occurrence of two types of active sites, a two-reactor system with catalyst circulation was modeled. The factors increasing the selectivity with respect to the desired product were studied. The selectivity in the two-reactor system at a certain ratio between the concentrations of active sites of partial and deep oxidation (in terms of the kinetic model proposed) is 15-20% higher than that in a single-reactor system.
