Реферат: Reverse-process of NOx selective catalytic reduction (RE-VERSE-NOx) consists in periodic flow reversal of low temperature gas in a fixed bed reactor. The results of the process mathematical simulation and experimental tests are discussed. Developed mathematical model accounts for both general features of packed bed reactor dynamics and phenomena peculiar to NOx reduction, such as two competitive reactions proceeding, NH3 adsorption and possible formation of ammonia salts. Process performance for various types of reactor is simulated. Experiments are carried. out on pilot and industrial scale plants charged with both granular and honeycomb catalyst. Effectiveness of the reverse-process as an energy-saving purification technique has been demonstrated especially for the gases characterized with great fluctuation of inlet NOx concentration.
