Abstract: Catalytic methods of gas detoxification make possible the purification of gases from various organic impurities, nitrogen oxides and other nitrogen-containing substances. The paper presents the full cycle of investigations, necessary for the creation of new processes of catalytic gas purification based on a nonstationary method of realization of catalytic reactions (the so-called Reverse-process). Results of industrial application of the unsteady-state method are demonstrated first of all for the removal of organic impurities and nitrogen oxides.
