Abstract: The 51V and 1H solid-state NMR data show the formation in V2O5-TiO2-SiO2 catalysts of a number of surface tetrahedral and octahedral V complexes, with their types depending upon the sequence of titanium deposition. Among them triple complexes containing V, Ti and Si together have been found.
