Abstract: The S resistance of Ni molybdate and zeolite-supported Ni-Mo catalysts was examd. in the hydrogenation of 1-hexene. The supported Ni-Mo catalysts exhibited a higher S resistance than supported Ni, and this resulted from the fixing of the hydrogenating components in a highly dispersed state during heat treatment.
