Abstract:
A study was carried out on the Fe/M ratio where M is a group V-VIII metal in bifunctional zeolite-containing catalysts on the composition of the hydrocarbon products of the hydrogenation of carbon monoxide under different reaction conditions. Additives introduced into the iron-containing component may be divided into two groups: group I) Mn, V, and Mn-V facilitate an enhancement of the products in the SIGMA C5 plus fraction; group II) Sb, Ce, Cu, Mo, and Mn-Mo which gave an enhancement in the volatile hydrocarbon fraction SIGMA C2-C4. The nature of the zeolite (high-silicon or erionite) affects the selectivity of the transformation of CO and H2.
