Abstract: A method was developed for quantitative detection of the distribution of MoS2 in SiO2 pores of different sizes. The change in the no. of O adsorption centers was detected as a function of the degree of catalyst pore filling by liquid H2O. The MoS2 is distributed in nonequil. fashion, forming different size pores. This explains the non-​uniform distribution of O adsorption centers.
