Реферат:
The heats of adsorption of the reactants H2S and SO2 were measured in a series of oxide catalysts which work stably in the Claus reaction. It was shown that an increase in the specific steady-state activity is observed on the oxides with a decrease in the heats of adsorption of both reactants. The heat of adsorption of SO2 on the most active V2O5 catalyst is approximately one-half of the change in the enthalpy in the Claus reaction. The forms of adsorption of SO2 and H2S were identified in comparing the adsorption data with the IR spectroscopic data.
