The selectivity of acrylonitrile formation in the oxidative ammonolysis of propane in the presence of binary Sb-Ga oxides (with Sb:Ga ranging from 0.83 to 6.3) was fairly const., and in the 24-34% range; the highest rate of reaction was obsd. for Sb:Ga = 2.8 in the bulk (1.02 on the surface).
