Реферат: Procedures based on the adsorption of oxygen and capillary condensation of water have been used in a study of the distribution of molybdenum sulfide in the pore structure of gamma-Al2O3 (microdistribution). It has been established by means of preadsorption of water molecules that, depending on the molybdenum concentration, the catalysts contain either one type of centers for the chemisorption of oxygen (catalysts with less-than-or-equal-to 4% Mo) or two types of centers (> 4% Mo). The major part of the surface of the molybdenum sulfide (approximately 80%) is localized in the mesopores. Differences in the chemisorption of oxygen on MoS2/SiO2 and MoS2/gamma-Al2O3 are examined critically.
