Abstract: The gas-phase copolymerization of ethylene with propene and 1-butene using supported Cr-containing catalysts of different composition and supported Ti-Mg catalysts was studied. Comonomer reactivity ratios for 8 different catalyst systems were determined. A lower regiospecificity of the chromium oxide catalyst as compared with the titanium-magnesium catalyst was observed, according to 13C NMR measurements.
