Abstract: It was found that fast pyrolysis of Co x (CO) s on TiO 2 leads to the formation of dispersed superparamagnetic cobalt particles characterized by a narrow ferromagnetic resonance signal. Catalysts thus prepared possess increased activity in the hydrogenation of carbon monoxide.
