Abstract: It has been established that the poisoning effect of SO2 on supported Ni−Cr oxide catalysts in deep oxidation of n-butane decreases the n-butane conversion and increases the CO concentration in envolving gases. According to kinetic isotope data, the observed increase in the CO concentration is due to a rise in its formation rate in the ratio Wform.CO/Wconsump.CO.
