Abstract: Cobalt phthalocyanine supported on a carbon gas-diffusion electrode has been found to be an active and stable electrocatalyst for the reduction of CO2 to CO. Under mild conditions it gives 100% selectivity of this process at current densities up to 80 mA/cm2.
