Abstract: Raman spectroscopy has been used to carry out in situ studies of K3PMo12O40 state in acrolein oxidation. It has been established that at 400°C the simultaneous effects of both the reaction mixture and laser beam lead to the formation of surface MoO3 on the catalyst.
