Abstract:
Zeolites of different structural types and chemical compositions have been investigated in aniline alkylation with methanol in a wide range of reaction temperatures. The results obtained have been correlated with IRS investigations of zeolites studied. It is shown that wide-pore zeolites with low molar ratio Si02/A1203 are the most suitable catalytic systems to obtain both N,N-dimethylaniline and C-alkylated anilines.
