Abstract: A mathematical model for calculating transition regimes in a catalyst bed is suggested with an account of the change over time and in space of the heat, concentration, and hydrodynamic variables. An algorithm is suggested and examples of numerical calculations are presented. The application of implicit difference schemes in combination with the suggested algorithm can be used to assess the dynamic regimes and to establish the stationary solution of the system of differential equations.
