Реферат: Conclusions: 1. Kinetic equations for the rate, and the time-rate-of-change of the rate, of the conversions of nitrogen-diluted isooctane on various cracking catalysts have been developed from data obtained in a gradient-free reactor. 2. The generality of the kinetic equations, and the constancy of the selectivity of coke formation on irregular cracking catalysts differing widely in chemical and phase compositions and initial activities, suggest that hydrocarbon conversion and catalyst deactivation follow general mechanisms. 3. The fact that there is apparently no relation between catalyst activity and specific chemisorption of ammonia suggests that hydrocarbon conversions on cracking catalysts are more complex than would be indicated by the generally accepted acid-base mechanism.
