Abstract: The 2% Pt/γ-Al2O3 and 2% Ir/γ-Al2O3 catalysts (for production high-octane fuels and aromatic hydrocarbons) were analyzed by x-ray diffraction for radial atom distribution. By coking of the catalysts with hydrocarbons, the active component reacts with the carrier causing a decrease of crystal metal phase while retaining metal dispersion.
