Abstract:
The rate constant, k, of the H2-O2 reaction on (110) Ni single crystal was studied at sample temperature T ≤700K. To describe adequately the experimental k = f(T), the kinetics of adsorption of O and the topochemical character of interaction in the adsorbed layer have to be considered in the Langmuir-Hinshelwood 4-stage kinetic scheme (D., et al., 1978-79).
