Abstract: The directions of methanol conversion on Pt, Pd, Zn, Ni metals and Y zeolites and on bifunctional metal-Y-zeolite catalysts have been studied. The increase of the hydrogenation activity of bifunctional catalysts enhances the rate of methanol conversion and decreases the selectivity of hydrocarbon formation.
