Abstract: It has been found that calcium nitride possesses a high catalytic activity in the isotope exchange of nitrogen. The catalytic activity of nitrides is shown to be independent of the heat of their formation. The effect of H2 and O2 on the isotope exchange of nitrogen is studied.
