Abstract: An investigation was conducted of the modifying effect of a low molec.wt. unsaturated polyketone obtained from polybutadiene and oligodienes not containing polar functional groups on the properties of cis-1,4-butadiene rubber and elastomer composites based on it. It was found that modification using this new type of functional liquid rubber made it possible to improve both the processing properties of the rubber mix and several important characteristics of the vulcanisate, e.g. EB and TS. 16 refs.
