Abstract: Polyoxometalate complexes are investigated by the separation methods of capillary electrophoresis and ionpair high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using as an example the separation of model mixtures of heteropolytungstates and actual mixtures of heteropolymolybdate synthesis products of various compositions. The capabilities of the methods to separate complexes with similar structures and compositions are shown, provided that the separation conditions are optimized. For electrophoretic separation, there is a possibility of increasing the resolution of the signals by modifying the inner surface of the capillary.
