Abstract: Study of the role of physico-chemical properties of the seeds on the kinetics of ZSM-5 zeolite synthesis has been done. The main parts of this study are: preparation of the zeolite seeds with different properties; measuring of full kinetic curves of crystallization at several temperatures; use of the complex of chemical and physico-chemical methods (chemical dissolution, adsorption technique, TEM, SEM, XRD, IR, multinuclear NMR, TG) to characterize the crystallization. It has been shown the influence of the seed properties on the properties of the final synthesized products, the parameters of the crystallization process, the nucleation energies and the energies of crystall growth. The structure of prepared seeds and the model of nucleation and crystal growth mechanism of ZSM-5 crystallization in presence of seeds have been proposed.
