Реферат: A new approach for synthesis of hybrid nanostructured silver sulfide - silver (Ag2S/Ag heteronanostructure) efficient photocatalyst based on chemical condensation with the using of Trilon BD has been suggested. Hybrid photocatalysts Ag2S/Ag are characterized by various techniques including XRD, HRTEM, EDX, DLS and BET. The hybrid photocatalyst Ag2S/Ag has shown higher activity in the hydrogen evolution from the aqueous solution of Na2S/Na2SO3 under the action of visible light (450 nm) than nanostructured Ag2S photocatalyst. The improved activity of the catalysts is attributed to the presence of heterojunction between Ag2S and Ag nanoparticles that results in more efficient charge separation as compared with silver sulfide catalyst. The efficiency of Ag2S/Ag heterostructures in the photocatalytic hydrogen production is shown for the first time.
