Rates of cracking, formation of butadiene, and other side reactions, which accompany the main reaction of butane dehydrogenation, are discussed on the basis of experimental data obtained previously. The coefficient of the increase in volume, excell hydrogen, and selectivity, which are needed for the mathematical description of the dehydrogenation of butane, were determined.
