Abstract: Crystals of the zeolite-like material silicoaluminophosphate SAPO-11 were synthesized in different media: water, mixture of water and ethanol, ethanol. Precursor suspensions were undergone ultrasonic pre-treatment before hydrothermal synthesis (HTS), and HTS was a two-stage crystallization approach, which assumes a separation of nucleation and crystal growth stages. Crystals, synthesized from ethanol medium, have an absolutely novel screw-like morphology with completely different texture compared with crystals, synthesized in water medium.
