Abstract: Kinetic model of β-picoline oxidation to nicotinic acid over V2O5-TiO2 catalyst in the temperature range 270–300 °C was elaborated on the base of the experimental data obtained in a differential reactor. Reaction mechanism was studied by in situ FTIR method. Kinetic parameters of the reaction rates were evaluated. The model gives satisfactory agreement between predicted and experimental results over a wide range of experimental conditions.
