Abstract: The results of long-term studies on the development of modified materials based on nanodispersed carbon (carbon black) for use in medicine and veterinary medicine are reported. A set of methods for the chemical functionalization of the surfaces of carbon sorbents is described. The main results of the studies of the modified carbon sorbents by physicochemical methods are given.
