Реферат: The particle size of different oxides (lanthanum and calcium aluminates, zirconium dioxide) was shown to be stabilized in the Oxide@C core-shell structures being subjected to a high temperature treatment. It was found that exactly the small size of the particles is responsible for stabilization of the low-temperature tetragonal phase of ZrO2 as well as lanthanum hexaaluminate phase up to 1300-1400 °C. Since the carbon shell is not applicable for the high-temperature usage in an oxygen-containing medium, effectiveness of magnesium oxide as a shell for stabilization of Oxide@MgO systems was studied as well.
