Abstract:
A series of SAPO-31 molecular sieves with different silicon contents was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions using AIP, fumed silica, H3PO4 and DBA as sources of Al, Si, P and template, respectively. SAPO-31 samples synthesized at different silicon contents were characterized using XRD, BET, SEM, and NH3-TPD. The bifunctional catalysts 0.5%Pd/SAPO-31 were prepared through the incipient wetness impregnation technique, and its catalytic performance of the hydroisomerization of n-decane was investigated on the fixed-bed continuous-flow reactor. The influence of silicon contents on the crystal morphologies, pore structure, acidic properties and catalytic performance of
SAPO-31 samples was studied. The results indicated that gave rise to SAPO-31 molecular sieves with different acidities, conversion of n-decane increased but selectivity to mono-methylnonane isomers decreased. The maximal selectivity to iso-C10 was reached over 0.5%Pd/SAPO-31 (n(SiO2)/n(Al2O3)=0.5).
