Abstract: The lecture presents an overview of the studies aimed to enhance the performance (activity, selectivity and stability) of catalytic compositions “Pt/aluminum oxides” in dehydrocyclization and dehydrogenation of individual alkanes. These studies were based on the idea of using knowledge on the active sites of such catalytic compositions to develop methods for their deliberate synthesis.
