Abstract: NaWMn-containing oxide systems supported on SiO2 and Al2O3 were characterized by thermal desorption of oxygen, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, in situ powder X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Correlations between the chemical and phase composition of these mixed oxides and sample pretreatment conditions (oxygen desorption, reoxidation) have been established. The factors governing the catalytic performance of oxide NaWMn systems in oxidative coupling of methane have been analyzed. © 2019, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
