Abstract: Isostructural complexes [Cu(2-Br-5-MePy)2X2] (2-Br-5-MePy = 2-bromo-5-methylpyridine, X = Cl (1), Br (2) were prepared and structurally characterized. Magnetic measurements reveal that both complexes demonstrate paramagnetic behavior.
