Abstract: Изучена природа акт. центров ацетата кобальта(3+) в процессе окисления п-ксилола (I). Синтезированы предполагаемые интермедиаты [Co3O(OAc)6(AcOH)3]+, [Co3O(OAc)5(OH)(AcOH)3]+ и комплекс Co3+, образующийся при нагревании первых двух комплексов. В процессе окисления I показано, что последний комплекс Co3+ менее активен, чем два других комплекса.
