Abstract: Mesoporous metal–organic frameworks Cr- and Fe-MIL-101 are highly efficient, true heterogeneous and recyclable catalysts for solvent-free selective oxidation of cyclohexane with molecular oxygen and/or tert-butyl hydroperoxide under mild conditions.
