The fine vibrational structure of the x-ray emission, x-ray electron, and photoelectron spectra of the CO and N2 molecules has been calculated in the one-particle (frozen) harmonic approximation. For the case of the CO molecule, a study has been made of the influence of the relaxation of the electronic system, accompanying the ionization of the molecule, on the energy and relative intensities of the electronic-vibrational transitions, that is, on the fine vibrational structure of the spectra. For this purpose, the potential curves of the ground and excited
states of the CO molecule have been calculated within the framework of the restricted Hartree-Fock method, realized in the program IBMOL-5. It has been shown that relaxation effects alter the form of the x-ray electron, photoelectron, and x-ray emission spectra, calculated in the one-particle approximation
