On the basis of a quantum-chemical calculation (CNDO]2) of the potential surfaces of isolated donor molecules containing the multiple-bonded groups C = O, C = N, N = N, C = N, P = N, and their molecular donor-acceptor complexes (acceptor BeFz), a study has been made of the changes in the structures and properties of the donor components brought about on complex formation, and the characteristics of the N- M coordinate bonds in the complexes studied have been examined and compared with one another
