Abstract: A hybrid wiggler for synchrotron radiation research program at the VEPP-4 was created in the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Novosibirsk, Russia. The wiggler consists of ordinary poles with coils, which generate a spatially periodic magnetic field equal to 1.75 T. Also, permanent magnets are insertion between the poles for increasing magnet field up to 1.9 T. In this paper, we present the design, calculations, and magnetic measurements for the hybrid wiggler.
