Abstract:
The results obtained at the Institute of Catalysis of the SB RAS in the studies of the physical and chemical foundations of direct catalytic oxidation of hydrogen sulfide to produce elemental sulfur and the development of a catalyst for this process are described. The Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS technologies based on fundamental studies along with the pilot and industrial testing results are presented.
