Abstract: Nanodimensional spherical powders of manganese and manganese-zinc ferrospinels have been obtained by mechanochemical synthesis. Their phase composition, structural parameters, morphology, dispersity, specific surface, and magnetic properties have been determined. It has been established that the addition of Zn2+ ions into a reaction mixture leads to an increase in the specific magnetization of manganese ferrite of up to 50%.
